Description
This method of cold-drying removes water from the product by sublimation and desorption. The freeze dryer has a drying chamber where the shelves temperature is controlled, a condenser and a vacuum pump that reduces the pressure in the drying chamber and the condenser to facilitate the drying of the product.
Application(s)
Drying of solids or liquids without solvent other than water.
